As most of you know I live in this darling little town called Palm Springs,

the last few posts have featured this enchanting desert city.

Palm Springs is also the backdrop for the classes I teach.

With winter season coming soon I will start teaching once again

Photography and Drawing

Today I am going to show you where I will be holding my sketching and photography classes. This is Cafe Chocolate on North Palm Canyon in Palm Springs

What better combination than Art Chocolate & Tea.

For both the photography and art classes we start off at this lovely cafe for tea

and Chocolate and discuss either photography or sketching.

The view setting is similar to what you would see in Europe.

And from this lovely little venue

to take incredible, moving photos. You can attend one class just to get you

started on the right track.

Purple Plus Flowers

When I went to Seattle to visit my wonderful friend Joy I had amazing flowers

waiting for me in my room...

Of course I took a million photos and these are my favorites.

A designer friend of mine bought the series of my flowers and a few of these ended up in a magnificent home in Hawaii. We blew them up and framed them simply with wide mats and a silver frame... walaaah!

Artistic Experiment...

As artists we are constantly working on 

new ways to express our vision... Take a look and let me know 

what you think...love people watching .... love painting and photographing people

but it is hard to make them look alive and breathing ... so that is what this little adventure 

is about.

I want to hold your hand

For a little over a year I have been working on putting together a collection of photos on how we touch each other.  Here are just a few from the collection.  I would love to hear what you think, it looks as though I will be exhibiting these in Southern California (Palm Springs) this February.

Top 3 Designs to Personalize Your Computer

As many of you know I have

started designing skins that are used

to personalize your computer.

I wanted to thank everyone for helping make

I so appreciate your using my work to

personalize your computer or phone

and to show your own style.

I came up with this idea because I spend a great deal of time in coffee shops working on computer and I wanted my precious Apple Computer

to have its own look. These designs are custom cut to fit whatever

computer, phone or mp3 player you may have. And if by chance

you have an Apple computer, there is a little perferation where the apple logo is

so that you can easily remove that part of the design and let your apple logo show thru. By the way I have on my computer another design of mine and when I was at a lecture in the Apple Store in Chicago the instructor stopped the lecture to find out "How did you get the most beautiful computer I ever saw?"

Capture My Chicago

The city of Chicago is my home town and I was there for a few months this summer.

They are having a wonderful contest where they have invited photographers of every level to take photos of Chicago that will be put into a wonderful coffee table book.
